1. Keep your apartment spacious – Let your home breathe. Fitting in too much into a very small space will make the house look cluttered. You yourself will feel really uncomfortable in your house. So use only furniture that’s absolutely necessary for your house and give away the unwanted ones.
2. Get floral light colored curtains – Floral printed curtains especially those in light colors make the house look really fresh and colorful. Use soft curtains that are long enough to be a visual treat for you as well as for others coming to your place.
3. Paint your house in different colors – Use different colors for the walls within the room itself. If you do not have a choice of painting the walls, you could try to paint the furniture in graceful hues so that the soothing effect is still there.
4. Add posters in different areas of your house – If it’s a small dining area, let a small poster with something written about food be hung within that space. Along the same lines, if it’s the bedroom, you could prepare a suitable poster for that one too.
5. Fit different kinds of lights in your living room – You can use decorative lights for the living room as that’s what will make your home attractive to all. At night, switch on those lights instead of the regular tube lights and see the difference for yourself.
6. Keep it simple – Whether it’s a curtain color, or a new poster you’re adding, keep the designs and look of the house simple yet elegant and that will do the trick anyhow.
